Why does my Ford Ranger keep stalling while idling?

My Ford Ranger has been stalling while idling and I'm not sure why. It only happens when the engine is warmed up, and it seems to happen more often when the weather is warmer. I've checked the air filter and fuel filter, but both seem to be in good condition. Any advice on what could be causing this issue?

It could be an issue with your idle control valve or your idle air control valve. These are responsible for regulating the air flow into the engine while idling. I recommend taking your Ranger to a mechanic to have it checked out and potentially replaced if needed.

Another possibility is a dirty or faulty mass air flow sensor. Over time, debris and dirt can build up on this sensor, causing it to malfunction. I suggest cleaning or replacing the sensor to see if that resolves the issue.

Have you checked your spark plugs and ignition coils? These are responsible for igniting the fuel in your engine and can cause stalling if they are worn or faulty. I recommend having them inspected and replaced if necessary.
