To check the oil on your Ford Puma, start by parking the car on level ground and turning off the engine. Locate the oil dipstick, which is typically a brightly colored handle near the engine. Pull it out and use a clean cloth to wipe off any old oil. Then reinsert the dipstick, making sure it is pushed all the way in. Pull it back out and check the oil level against the markings on the dipstick. If the level is below the minimum mark, you need to add more oil. Always make sure to use the type and grade of oil recommended by Ford.

Another important factor to consider when checking the oil on your Ford Puma is the color and consistency of the oil. If the oil is dark or has a burnt smell, it may be time for an oil change. Additionally, if you notice any metal particles or grit in the oil, it could be a sign of engine trouble. In these cases, it is best to take your car to a qualified mechanic for further inspection.
