Hi Jenny, checking the transmission fluid is an important maintenance task for your Ford Mondeo. The transmission is responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels, so it's important to make sure it's working properly. To check the fluid level, first make sure your car is on level ground. Then locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually labeled with a red or yellow handle. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a rag. Then re-insert it and pull it out again. The fluid level should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If it's low, add the specified fluid for your car using a funnel. I recommend checking your transmission fluid every few months to ensure it's at the proper level. Hope this helps!

Hi Jenny, here's a tip for checking your transmission fluid in a Ford Mondeo. It's best to do this when the engine is at operating temperature (after a short drive). This ensures an accurate reading of the fluid level. Also, don't forget to check the color of the fluid. It should be a clear reddish color. If it's dark or smells burnt, it's time to change it. Hope this helps!
