How do I check the transmission oil level on my Ford Kuga?

I'm experiencing some unusual shifting behavior in my Ford Kuga and I suspect it may be due to low transmission oil. How do I check the transmission oil level and add more if necessary?

Hi Maria, to check your transmission oil level on your Ford Kuga, first make sure the car is on a flat surface and the engine is at normal operating temperature. Then, locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually marked with a yellow handle. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth. Reinsert the dipstick and then remove it again to check the level. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick. If it is low, you can add more transmission oil through the dipstick tube using a funnel. Make sure to use the type of oil specified in your owner's manual. Let me know if this helps!

Hi Maria, checking your transmission oil level is an important maintenance task for your Ford Kuga. Always make sure to use the correct type of oil specified in your owner's manual. If you notice any unusual shifting behavior, it's always a good idea to check the fluid level first before taking your car to a mechanic. Let me know if you have any other questions!
