Hi Lisa, congratulations on your new Ford Puma! To check the tire pressure, you will first need a tire pressure gauge. Insert the gauge into the tire valve and take note of the reading. Compare it to the recommended tire pressure listed on a sticker on the driver's side door. If it is too high or too low, use an air compressor to adjust the pressure. Don't forget to check the pressure in all four tires and to also check them when they are cold for accurate readings.

Hey Lisa, it's important to check your tire pressure regularly, at least once a month. This not only helps with fuel efficiency, but also improves your safety on the road. Make sure to also check the spare tire, as it's often overlooked. And remember, if you're not comfortable checking the pressure yourself, most gas stations offer free air pumps and gauges for customers to use.

Hey there, Lisa. Another tip for checking your tire pressure is to avoid relying solely on the 'recommended' pressure. Instead, aim for the 'optimal' pressure. The optimal pressure takes into account the weight of your vehicle and any additional load you may be carrying. Over-inflated tires can wear out quickly, while under-inflated tires can decrease your gas mileage and handling. Hope this helps!
