How do I troubleshoot the ABS light in my Ford Galaxy?

I have a 2010 Ford Galaxy and the ABS light keeps coming on. I've tried checking the brake fluid and resetting the system, but it still won't go off. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do to fix it before taking it to a mechanic?

First, try checking the ABS sensors and cleaning them if they are dirty. If this doesn't work, it could be a fault in the ABS system itself. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic for further diagnosis and repairs.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Galaxy and it turned out to be a faulty ABS module. It's a fairly common problem with this model. I would suggest getting it checked out by a professional as it can be a safety hazard if left unchecked.

Before taking it to a mechanic, try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This can sometimes reset the system and resolve the issue. If not, then it's best to have a professional take a look.
