How does Ford's EcoBoost technology work in the Ford Fiesta?

I recently heard about Ford's EcoBoost technology and how it's supposed to improve fuel efficiency in their cars. I'm interested in buying a Ford Fiesta but I'm not sure how this technology works and if it's worth the extra cost. Can someone explain it to me?

Hi John, EcoBoost technology uses a combination of turbocharging and direct fuel injection to improve both power and fuel efficiency. The turbocharger compresses incoming air, which allows for more fuel to be injected into the engine, resulting in better performance. It also allows for a smaller, more efficient engine without sacrificing power. I definitely think it's worth the extra cost for the long-term fuel savings.

Hi John, EcoBoost technology works by using a turbocharger to increase the amount of air entering the engine, resulting in more power. The direct fuel injection then allows for precise distribution of fuel, improving fuel efficiency. I have a Fiesta with EcoBoost and I've noticed a significant difference in both performance and gas mileage compared to my previous non-EcoBoost car. Highly recommend it.
