How does the Ford S-Max handle off-roading?

I am considering purchasing a Ford S-Max and I plan on doing some off-roading, can anyone provide insight on how well it performs in rough terrain?

The Ford S-Max can handle light off-roading well, but if you plan on doing more intense off-roading, I would suggest looking into a different car. The suspension and ground clearance may not be enough for extreme terrain.
