How does the Ford S-Max's EcoBoost engine compare to its Duratec engine?

Can anyone explain the real difference between Ford's EcoBoost and Duratec engines in the Ford S-Max? Which one would you recommend for a smoother driving experience and better fuel efficiency?

In my opinion, the EcoBoost engine is superior to the Duratec engine. It provides better fuel efficiency and a smoother driving experience thanks to its turbocharged design. Plus, it's more environmentally friendly.

I have driven both the EcoBoost and Duratec engine in my Ford S-Max and personally, I prefer the Duratec. It's more reliable and requires less maintenance compared to the EcoBoost.
