How important are regular oil changes for maintaining your Ford Kuga's engine?

I've been driving my Ford Kuga for a few years now and I've never really thought much about regular oil changes. Is it really necessary to do them every 5,000 miles or can I stretch it out a bit longer?

Regular oil changes are crucial for maintaining the overall health of your Ford Kuga's engine. It ensures that all the moving parts are properly lubricated and functioning as they should be.

A

Skipping or delaying oil changes can lead to serious engine problems and potentially even engine failure. It may seem like an extra expense, but it's definitely worth it in the long run.

B

It's always better to err on the side of caution and get your oil changed according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Don't risk damaging your engine by waiting too long.
