How often should I change my Ford Fiesta's oil?

I recently bought a used Ford Fiesta and I'm not sure how often I should change the oil. I drive about 10,000 miles per year and mainly use the car for my daily commute. Can someone give me some advice on the recommended oil change interval?

It's recommended to change the oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. However, if you drive in severe conditions such as stop-and-go traffic or extreme temperatures, it's best to change it more frequently.

I change my Fiesta's oil every 7,500 miles and haven't had any issues. Just make sure to use the recommended oil type for your specific model. It's also a good idea to check your owner's manual for any specific instructions.

If you want to be on the safe side, I would suggest changing the oil every 5,000 miles. It's better to be proactive in maintaining your car's engine than risking any damage due to old or dirty oil.
