How often should I change the timing belt on my Ford Kuga?

I have a 2015 Ford Kuga and have not yet replaced the timing belt. How often should I change it and what are the potential consequences of not changing it regularly?

As a general rule, it is recommended to replace the timing belt every 60,000 miles or 6 years, whichever comes first.

If you neglect to replace the timing belt, it could potentially break and cause severe damage to your engine, leading to an expensive repair.

I suggest checking your owner's manual for the specific recommended replacement interval for your particular Ford Kuga model.
