As a general rule, it is recommended to change your tires every 6 years or every 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. However, the frequency of tire changes also depends on your driving habits and the type of tires you have.

If you notice your tires are worn out or have less than 4/32 inch of tread depth, it's time to replace them. Also, make sure to regularly check your tire pressure and rotate them every 5,000-6,000 miles to ensure even wear.

As a Ford Focus owner, I highly recommend investing in high-quality tires and changing them every 3-4 years for optimal performance. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the safety of yourself and your vehicle.
