How to check the transmission oil level in a Ford S-Max?

I recently bought a used Ford S-Max and want to make sure the transmission oil level is correct. Can anyone tell me the steps to check it? Thanks!

Hi Jessica! To check the transmission oil level in a Ford S-Max, first make sure the engine is warm. Then, locate the transmission dipstick under the hood and remove it. Wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it out again to check the oil level. It should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick. If it's low, add the recommended type of transmission oil.

Hey Jessica, checking the transmission oil level is an important part of maintaining your vehicle. In addition to the steps mentioned by Randy, it's a good idea to also check for any signs of leaks or burning smell. If you notice any, it could indicate a larger issue and you should bring your car to a mechanic.
