How to troubleshoot faulty brakes in a Ford Kuga?

My Ford Kuga's brakes are starting to feel spongy and less responsive. I've checked the brake fluid and it seems fine. What are some possible causes for this issue and how can I fix it?

This could be due to air bubbles in your brake lines. Try bleeding the brakes to remove any air and see if that improves the responsiveness.

Another possible cause could be worn brake pads. Check the thickness of your brake pads and replace them if necessary.

It's also possible that your brake calipers need to be replaced. Have a mechanic inspect them for any signs of wear or damage.

Make sure to also check your brake discs for any warping or damage. This can also cause a decrease in braking performance.
