Is it necessary to change the oil in a Ford Mondeo regularly?

I have a Ford Mondeo and I was wondering how often I need to change the oil. My mechanic told me that it's best to change it every 5,000 miles, but I'm not sure if that's really necessary. I don't want to waste money on unnecessary oil changes, but I also don't want to damage my car by neglecting it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As a car enthusiast and owner of a Ford Mondeo myself, I highly recommend changing the oil every 5,000 miles. This may seem like a lot, but it's a small price to pay for the longevity and performance of your car.

Although some may say it's okay to extend the oil change interval, I wouldn't risk it. Regular oil changes are crucial for maintaining the health of your engine and ensuring it runs smoothly. Stick to the recommended 5,000-mile interval.

I've had my Ford Mondeo for over 10 years and have always followed the 5,000-mile oil change interval. My car still runs like it's brand new. Trust me, it's worth it!
