Is the Ford EcoSport reliable for long distance trips?

I am planning to take a road trip across the country and I am considering buying a Ford EcoSport. I want to know if this car is reliable enough to endure long distance trips. I have heard mixed reviews about its performance and I need advice from someone who has experience with this car.
