Is the Ford Fiesta a reliable car?

I'm looking into buying a Ford Fiesta but I've heard mixed reviews about its reliability. Can someone who owns or has experience with a Ford Fiesta share their thoughts on its reliability and if it's worth purchasing?

In my experience, the Ford Fiesta has been a very reliable car. I've had it for 3 years now and have had no major issues. As long as you keep up with regular maintenance, it should serve you well.

I've owned a Ford Fiesta for 5 years and have had quite a few issues with it. The transmission has failed twice and I've had numerous electrical problems. I would not recommend it for a reliable car.
