Is the Ford Mondeo a reliable car for long trips?

I am planning a road trip and I am considering buying a used Ford Mondeo for the journey. However, I am concerned about its reliability and if it can handle long distances. Can anyone share their experiences with this car in regards to long trips?

I have taken my Ford Mondeo on multiple road trips and it has never let me down. It is a reliable car for long distances.

I would not recommend the Ford Mondeo for long trips. I had multiple issues with mine during a road trip and ended up stranded.
