I am considering purchasing a Ford Ranger but I am not sure if the added cost for the off-road capability is worth it. Can someone share their experience and provide some insight?
ReplyIn my opinion, the off-road capability of the Ford Ranger is definitely worth the extra cost. I have taken my Ranger on some pretty challenging off-road trails and it has never disappointed me. Plus, having that added capability gives me peace of mind in case I ever need it in an emergency situation. I highly recommend going for it.
I personally don't think the off-road capability is worth the extra cost. I have a friend who has a Ranger without it and we have gone on off-road trips together and his truck keeps up just fine. Unless you plan on doing some serious rock crawling or extreme off-roading, I don't see the need for it.
I own a Ford Ranger with the off-road capability and while it is nice to have, I rarely use it. If I could do it over again, I would have saved the money and gone with the standard option. It ultimately depends on your personal needs and how often you plan on taking your truck off-road.
