I recently purchased a used Ford Galaxy and have been experiencing issues with the dual-clutch transmission. It seems to be slipping and not shifting smoothly. Are there any common problems with this type of transmission and what should I do to fix it?
ReplyIt's important to have your transmission checked by a qualified mechanic in order to properly diagnose the issue. However, based on my personal experience with the Ford Galaxy, dual-clutch transmission issues are not uncommon.
I had a similar issue with my Ford Galaxy a few years ago. After getting it checked out, I found out that it was due to a faulty solenoid. Make sure to have all of the solenoids checked and possibly replaced in order to fix the issue.
