What are the most common issues with the Ford Galaxy transmission system?

I have a Ford Galaxy and have been experiencing some issues with the transmission system. It sometimes shifts hard and makes strange noises. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

I had a similar issue with my Ford Galaxy. I took it to a mechanic and they told me it was a problem with the transmission fluid. I got it changed and it fixed the issue.

It could be an issue with the transmission solenoid. I had to replace mine in my Ford Galaxy and that solved the problem.
