I just bought a used Ford Fiesta and I'm not sure what type of engine oil and coolant I should be using. Can you please provide the recommended specifications for these fluids?
ReplyFor engine oil, Ford recommends using a synthetic blend meeting specifications WSS-M2C945-A or WSS-M2C946-A. As for coolant, use a 50/50 mix of ethylene glycol antifreeze and water meeting specification WSS-M97B44-D.
I have a Ford Fiesta and I recommend using full synthetic engine oil with a viscosity of 5W-20. As for coolant, any brand that meets the specifications of WSS-M97B44-D should be good.
It's always best to consult your Ford Fiesta's owner's manual for the most accurate recommendations on engine oil and coolant. But based on personal experience, I recommend using a full synthetic 5W-20 oil and a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water meeting specification WSS-M97B44-D for coolant.
