I just bought a Ford Ranger and I'm wondering what the recommended tire pressures should be? I don't want to over or under inflate my tires and I want to maximize my safety and fuel efficiency.
ReplyHi Samantha! The recommended tire pressures for a Ford Ranger can vary slightly depending on the model and tires you have. Generally, it's best to refer to the placard on the inside of your driver's door for the exact recommendation. However, as a general rule, for the Ford Ranger XLT, the recommended tire pressures are 35psi for the front tires and 30psi for the rear tires. This will help with both safety and fuel efficiency. Hope this helps!
Hey Samantha, I've owned a Ford Ranger for years and I can tell you that the recommended tire pressures can vary depending on the terrain you'll be driving on. For regular city driving, the pressure should be around 35psi for all four tires. But if you'll be off-roading or driving on rough roads, it's best to lower it to around 30psi. This will provide better traction and stability. Happy driving!
Hi Samantha! Congrats on the new Ford Ranger. The recommended tire pressures for your truck can also depend on the weight of your vehicle and the load you'll be carrying. For light loads, the tires should have a pressure of 35psi for both front and rear. But if you'll be carrying a heavier load, it's best to increase the pressure to around 40psi. This will help with stability and handling. Keep the adventure going!
