What does the 'SEL' label stand for in a Ford Focus?

I'm looking to buy a used Ford Focus and I've come across different trims like S, SE, SES, and SEL. I know S stands for 'standard' and SE stands for 'special edition' but what about SES and SEL? I want to make sure I'm getting the right package for my needs and budget.

The 'SEL' label stands for 'sports, luxury' and it offers higher-end features like leather seats, heated mirrors, and dual-zone climate control. It's perfect for those who want a more premium driving experience without breaking the bank.

SEL stands for 'select' and it offers a good balance of standard features and upgrades. It's a great choice for those who want more than just the basic package without going all out on the higher trims.

The 'S' stands for 'sport' and the 'E' stands for 'economy'. I'm not sure what the 'L' stands for but I know it has to do with the interior. My friend has an SES and she says she loves the way it looks and feels.
