What engine oil should I use for my Ford Ranger?

I just bought a Ford Ranger and I am not sure what type of engine oil I should use. Can anyone with experience in Ford cars give me some advice?

Congratulations on your new Ford Ranger, Samantha! As for the type of engine oil, you should check your owner's manual or speak to a trusted mechanic. Generally, Fords require a synthetic blend or full synthetic oil for optimum performance and longevity. It's also important to regularly change your oil every 5,000-7,500 miles to keep your engine running smoothly.

I have been using a fully synthetic engine oil for my Ford Ranger for years and I have had no issues so far. Just make sure to choose a reputable brand and follow the recommended oil change intervals for your vehicle. Happy driving!
