What is Ford's adaptive cruise control feature and how does it work?

I'm considering purchasing a Ford S-Max and I've heard that it comes with adaptive cruise control. Can someone explain to me how this technology works and if it's worth the extra cost?

Adaptive cruise control is a feature that allows your car to automatically adjust its speed to maintain a safe following distance from the vehicle in front of you. It uses radar and cameras to detect the distance and speed of the car in front and then adjusts your car's speed accordingly. It's definitely worth the extra cost in my opinion as it can improve safety and reduce fatigue on long drives.

Adaptive cruise control is a must-have feature for any modern car. It not only helps maintain a safe following distance, but it can also reduce the stress of constantly adjusting your speed in heavy traffic. As someone who has used this feature for years, I highly recommend it.

While adaptive cruise control may seem like a luxury feature, it can actually be very useful in everyday driving. Not only does it make highway driving more comfortable, but it can also prevent accidents by automatically braking when a vehicle suddenly slows down in front of you. I highly recommend opting for this feature on your new Ford S-Max.
