What is the best engine option for the Ford Mondeo?

I am thinking of purchasing a Ford Mondeo, but I am unsure which engine option is the best. Can someone with experience provide some insight?

I would recommend the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. It provides the perfect balance of power and efficiency.

I have the 1.5L TDCi engine and it has been great for daily driving. It's not the most powerful, but it gets the job done.
