What is the best transmission for a Ford Kuga?

I have heard mixed opinions on which type of transmission is better for a Ford Kuga: automatic or manual. Which one would you suggest and why?

I have owned a Ford Kuga for several years now and I have always opted for the manual transmission. It gives me more control over the car and I feel like it has better fuel efficiency.

I recently switched from a manual to an automatic Ford Kuga and I have to say, the difference is significant. It takes some getting used to, but the smoothness of the automatic transmission is unmatched.
