I'm looking to replace the spark plugs on my Ford Mondeo, but I'm not sure where to start. Can someone give me some guidance on the best way to go about this?
ReplyFirst, make sure you have the correct size spark plugs for your Ford Mondeo. Then, locate the spark plugs on your engine and remove the ignition coil or spark plug wires. Use a spark plug socket to remove the old plugs, and be sure to gap the new ones to manufacturer specifications before installing. Reattach everything and you should be good to go!
I've found it's easiest to replace one spark plug at a time, starting with the one closest to the front of the engine. This will help you keep track of which wires go where. And don't forget to use dielectric grease on the boots to prevent moisture from getting in!
