What is the most reliable engine type for the Ford Focus?

I am looking to purchase a Ford Focus and I want to know which engine type is the most reliable. I have heard mixed reviews about the Ford V5 engine, but I am not sure if this is still the case for newer models. Can anyone provide advice on the best engine type to choose?

In my experience, the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine has been the most reliable for the Ford Focus. It offers a good balance of power and fuel efficiency.
