What is the optimal oil type for a Ford Focus RS?

I just bought a new Ford Focus RS and I'm wondering which type of oil I should use for optimal performance. I've heard conflicting information - some say to use synthetic, others say conventional. What do you recommend?

Hello Michelle, congratulations on your new Ford Focus RS! For optimal performance, we recommend using synthetic oil. It provides better protection and helps improve engine performance. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommended viscosity rating and change the oil regularly to keep your car running smoothly. Best of luck with your new ride! - Car Expert

Hey Michelle, I've been a Ford fan for years and my go-to oil for my Focus RS is definitely synthetic. It might cost a little more initially, but it's worth it in the long run. Trust me, your car will thank you! - Tony

Hi Michelle, I know exactly how you feel. I've been debating between synthetic and conventional oil for my Ford Focus RS as well. After doing some research, I've come to the conclusion that synthetic is the way to go. It's a bit more expensive but it's more durable and provides better protection for your engine.
