What is the recommended engine oil for the Ford Puma?

I just purchased a Ford Puma and I'm wondering what type of engine oil I should use. Are there specific recommendations from Ford or can I use any brand? Thanks in advance!

Congratulations on your new Ford Puma! According to Ford, the recommended engine oil for the Puma is the Motorcraft Formula F 5W-30. This oil is specifically designed for Ford vehicles and will help maintain the performance and longevity of your engine. However, if you'd like to use a different brand, make sure it meets the API SN specification and has a viscosity of 5W-30.

I've been using Castrol Edge 5W-30 in my Ford Puma for years and have had no issues. Just make sure to follow the recommended oil change intervals and you should be good to go!

I highly recommend using the recommended Motorcraft oil for your Ford Puma. It may be a bit more expensive but it's well worth it for the peace of mind of knowing your engine is being cared for properly. Don't skimp on oil, it's the lifeblood of your car!
