What is the recommended oil change frequency for a Ford Galaxy?

I recently purchased a Ford Galaxy and want to make sure I'm taking care of it properly. Can anyone tell me how often I should be getting an oil change? I've heard conflicting advice and want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

It is recommended to get an oil change every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first.

I always follow the 3,000 mile rule for my Ford Galaxy and have had no issues.

Some people say you can go up to 7,500 miles, but I wouldn't risk it. Stick with 5,000 miles to be safe.
