What type of engine does the Ford S-Max use?

I am considering purchasing a Ford S-Max and I am curious about the type of engine it uses. Can anyone provide some insight on this?

I would recommend going for the 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine if you do a lot of long distance driving. It provides better fuel efficiency and torque compared to the 1.5L EcoBoost engine.

Personally, I prefer the 1.5L EcoBoost engine. It has a good balance of power and fuel efficiency for my daily city driving.
