What type of engine oil is recommended for a Ford Focus?

I have recently purchased a Ford Focus and I am unsure what type of engine oil I should use. Can anyone recommend a type or brand that works well for this car?

I have had great results using Mobil 1 synthetic oil in my Ford Focus. It provides excellent protection and performance.

I would recommend using Castrol GTX Magnatec synthetic blend. It is specifically formulated for high-performance engines and meets Ford's specifications.

I have always used Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic oil in my Ford Focus and have never had any issues. It provides great protection and improved fuel efficiency.
