What type of engine oil should I use for my Ford EcoSport?

I recently purchased a new Ford EcoSport and I'm not sure what type of engine oil to use. Can anyone provide me with some guidance on which oil is best for my car's engine?

Hi Sarah, congratulations on your new Ford EcoSport! According to Ford, the recommended engine oil for the EcoSport is synthetic SAE 5W-20. This type of oil is designed to improve fuel economy and engine performance. Make sure to also regularly check your oil levels and change the oil every 5,000-7,500 miles for optimal performance. Hope this helps!

Hey Sarah, first and foremost, always follow the manufacturer's recommendations for engine oil. In this case, Ford recommends using synthetic SAE 5W-20 which provides better protection in extreme temperatures and prolonged use. Keep an eye on your oil levels and also consider using a high-quality oil filter for even better performance. Best of luck!

Hi Sarah, it's great that you're taking the time to research the best oil for your car. I suggest using synthetic oil over conventional oil for enhanced protection and performance. One thing to keep in mind is to always ensure that the oil you use meets the current API (American Petroleum Institute) specifications for your car. I hope this was helpful!
