What type of oil should I use for my Ford EcoSport?

I just bought a Ford EcoSport and I want to know what type of oil would be best for it. I am not sure if I should use synthetic or conventional oil. What are the benefits of each and which one would be better for my car?

Hi Samantha, congratulations on your new Ford EcoSport! When it comes to choosing the right type of oil, it's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations. In the case of your Ford EcoSport, Ford recommends using synthetic oil for optimal performance. Synthetic oil offers better lubrication and can handle higher temperatures than conventional oil, which means it can better protect your engine. Plus, it also lasts longer, so you won't have to change it as often. However, if synthetic oil is out of your budget, conventional oil is still a good option. Just make sure to change it regularly according to your car's maintenance schedule.

Hi Samantha, great question! I've been a mechanic for over 10 years and I can tell you that synthetic oil is definitely the way to go. It may be more expensive, but it's worth it in the long run. Synthetic oil provides better protection for your engine, especially in extreme temperatures. It also reduces engine wear and tear, which means your car will last longer. So save yourself the hassle and invest in synthetic oil for your Ford EcoSport. Your car will thank you.

Hi Samantha, I own a Ford EcoSport as well and I've been using conventional oil for years with no issues. It's definitely more affordable and readily available. However, if you want to go the extra mile, synthetic oil is the way to go. It offers better protection and prolongs engine life. But if you're on a tight budget, don't worry about using conventional oil. Just make sure to change it regularly and your car should be just fine.
