Which type of engine oil should I use for my Ford Puma 1.0 EcoBoost?

I'm planning to do an oil change for my Ford Puma and I'm not sure which type of engine oil is suitable for it. The manual says 5W-20, but I've heard some people say that 5W-30 is better. Which one should I use and is there any noticeable difference between the two? Thank you!

I've been using 5W-30 engine oil for my Ford Puma for years and it has been running smoothly. It's a good choice for both warm and cold weather and it provides better protection for the engine.

I would personally recommend sticking to the manufacturer's recommendation and using 5W-20 engine oil. It's specifically designed for your car's engine and using a different grade could potentially cause issues in the long run.

I've tried both 5W-20 and 5W-30 engine oil for my Ford Puma and I haven't noticed any significant difference in performance. I would say just stick to whichever one is more readily available or easier on your budget.
