I'm planning to do an oil change for my Ford Puma and I'm not sure which type of engine oil is suitable for it. The manual says 5W-20, but I've heard some people say that 5W-30 is better. Which one should I use and is there any noticeable difference between the two? Thank you!
ReplyI've been using 5W-30 engine oil for my Ford Puma for years and it has been running smoothly. It's a good choice for both warm and cold weather and it provides better protection for the engine.
I would personally recommend sticking to the manufacturer's recommendation and using 5W-20 engine oil. It's specifically designed for your car's engine and using a different grade could potentially cause issues in the long run.
