Why does my Ford EcoSport make a grinding noise when I apply the brakes?

I noticed that my Ford EcoSport is making a grinding noise when I apply the brakes. This just started happening recently and I'm worried that it might be a sign of a serious problem. Can someone please advise me on what could be causing this noise and if I should take my car to a mechanic?

It sounds like your brake pads may be worn out. This is a common issue with Ford EcoSports and can be easily fixed by taking your car to a trusted mechanic. I recommend getting this checked out as soon as possible, as worn brake pads can cause serious damage to your car and put you at risk while driving.

I had a similar issue with my Ford EcoSport and it turned out to be a problem with the brake rotors. I would suggest getting your rotors checked and replaced if necessary. It's also a good idea to have your entire brake system inspected for any other potential issues.

I had this problem before and it was due to a buildup of debris and dirt in the brake system. Try taking your car to a car wash and thoroughly cleaning the wheels, brakes, and tires. If the noise persists, then it's best to have a mechanic take a look.
