I recently noticed that my Ford Fiesta has been making a loud rattling noise whenever I accelerate. It seems to come from the engine area and the noise gets louder as I drive faster. What could be causing this and should I be worried?
ReplyIt's possible that the rattling noise is coming from a loose component in the engine, such as a heat shield or exhaust hanger. You should have it checked by a mechanic to make sure it's not a more serious issue.
This could also be caused by a problem with the ignition timing or a dirty fuel filter. I would recommend taking your Ford Fiesta to a trusted mechanic for a diagnostic test.
