Why does my Ford Focus start to shake when I accelerate?

I have a 2013 Ford Focus and recently I've noticed that when I press down on the gas pedal, the whole car starts to shake. It feels like it's coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your engine mounts may be worn out. They are responsible for holding the engine in place and if they're damaged, it can cause vibrations and shaking. I would suggest taking your car to a mechanic to get them checked and replaced if needed.

This could also be a sign of a misfiring engine, especially if you notice a decrease in power while accelerating. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to get a diagnostic check and replace any faulty spark plugs or ignition coils.

Have you checked your tires recently? Uneven tread wear or misaligned tires can also cause shaking while accelerating. You may just need to get your tires rotated or aligned to fix the issue.
