Why Does My Ford Galaxy Keep Losing Power?

I've been experiencing a loss of power in my Ford Galaxy lately and I'm not sure what could be causing it. It tends to happen randomly while driving, and it feels like the engine just cuts out for a few seconds before coming back on. It's really frustrating and I'm worried it could be a bigger issue. Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice on how to fix it?

Hi Rachel, it sounds like you may be experiencing an issue with your fuel injectors. This is a common problem in Ford Galaxys and can cause the loss of power you're describing. It's important to get this checked out by a mechanic to prevent any further damage to your engine.

Hey Rachel, I had the same problem with my Galaxy and it turned out to be a faulty spark plug. It's a quick and easy fix, so I would recommend checking that first before taking it to a mechanic.

Hi Rachel, if your Galaxy is more than 10 years old, it's possible that the catalytic converter is clogged. This can cause a loss of power and can be fixed by replacing the converter. However, it can be a bit pricey so make sure to get a few quotes from mechanics before committing.
