Why does my Ford Mondeo engine keep overheating?

I purchased a used Ford Mondeo last year and recently, I've noticed that the engine keeps overheating. I've checked the coolant levels and everything seems to be in order. I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. Any suggestions?

From my experience, this could be due to a faulty thermostat. I had a similar issue with my Ford Mondeo and replacing the thermostat solved the problem. I suggest getting it checked by a mechanic.

Another possible reason could be a clogged radiator. Over time, the radiator can become clogged with debris and this can cause the engine to overheat. I recommend having the radiator flushed and cleaned.

Have you checked the fan belt? If it is damaged or loose, it can prevent the fan from cooling the engine efficiently. Make sure to have it checked and replaced if necessary.
