Why does my Ford Mondeo's engine make a strange noise while idling?

I just purchased a used 2015 Ford Mondeo and I've noticed that the engine makes a strange noise while idling, like a rattling or humming sound. It's not very loud, but it's definitely noticeable. Is this something I should be concerned about? Is there a way to fix it?
