Why is my Ford EcoSport making a strange noise every time I turn the steering wheel?

I have noticed recently that when I turn the steering wheel of my Ford EcoSport, there is a strange grinding noise coming from the front of the car. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's definitely noticeable when it does. I'm not sure what could be causing this. I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to fix this issue.

Hi Taylor, the grinding noise could be a sign of a faulty power steering pump or a worn out steering belt. I would advise taking your Ford EcoSport to a trusted mechanic to get it checked out. It's not something that you should ignore, as it could potentially lead to a loss of steering control. Hope this helps!

Hi Taylor, I had the same issue with my Ford EcoSport before and it turned out to be a loose steering column. I would suggest getting your steering system checked for any loose parts or connections. It's a simple fix but can cause major problems if left unaddressed. Good luck!

Hey Taylor, I've had this issue with my Ford EcoSport before and it was due to a low power steering fluid level. Check your fluid level and top it off if needed. If that doesn't solve the problem, then it could be a sign of a worn out power steering pump. It's always best to have a professional take a look. Stay safe!
