Why is my Ford Fiesta's engine making a knocking noise?

I've noticed a knocking noise coming from my Ford Fiesta's engine when I accelerate. I recently got an oil change and the oil level seems fine. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by a number of issues, such as worn out bearings or a loose connecting rod. It's important to get it checked by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your engine.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Fiesta and it turned out to be a faulty fuel pump. I would suggest taking it to a trusted mechanic and getting it diagnosed before it gets worse.

I've been a mechanic for 10 years and in my experience, a knocking noise in the engine could be due to low oil pressure or a failing timing chain. It's best to bring it to a professional for a proper diagnosis and repair.
