Why is my Ford Focus making a clicking noise?

I have noticed a clicking noise coming from my Ford Focus when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine but I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any ideas?

It could be a sign of a faulty CV joint. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic to get it checked out.

Check your spark plugs, they may need to be replaced. This could also be causing the clicking noise.
