Why is my Ford Focus making a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I have noticed that my Ford Focus is making a clicking noise whenever I turn the steering wheel. It started happening a few weeks ago and seems to be getting louder. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your CV joints may be worn out. This is a common issue with Ford Focus cars and can cause a clicking noise when turning. You should take it to a mechanic to have them replaced as soon as possible.

Another possible cause could be a loose or damaged steering column. This can also cause clicking noises when turning. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

Make sure to check your power steering fluid levels as well. If they are low, it could be causing the clicking noise. Simply top off the fluid if needed, but if it continues to be low, you may have a leak that needs to be fixed.
