Why is my Ford Focus making a clicking noise when turning?

I recently noticed that my Ford Focus is making a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel. It's almost like a grinding sound and it's worrying me. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

Hi Emily, it sounds like you may have a problem with your CV joints. These are responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels and can make a clicking noise when they are worn out. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic for an inspection and potential replacement.

Emily, it's possible that you may have a loose or worn out wheel bearing. This can cause a clicking or grinding noise when turning. I recommend having a mechanic check your wheel bearings and replace them if necessary.

Hey Emily, make sure to check your power steering fluid levels. Low fluid can cause grinding noises when turning. If the levels are low, top it up and see if the noise goes away. If not, it could be a more serious issue and you should take it to a mechanic.
